CLIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Located in the heart of Kilauea Town we're happy to have a team of skilled and positive animal loving individuals. Candidates should be friendly and dependable with excellent customer service skills and great at multi-tasking.
Our Client Service Representative will make the first impression with our clients. Our goal is to have that be a warm and professional one. We depend on compassionate team members who truly believe in our philosophy of care. Individuals who are outgoing, well-organized, excel at multitasking and communicate well are highly encouraged to apply for this position!
Responsibilities include: Maintaining and helping organize a fast paced, multi-doctor veterinary clinic through compassion and understanding for both clients, patients and teammates to uphold the highest level of patient care and provide an exceptional client experience. Ability to speak clearly, answer multiple phone lines and engage with clients and teammates through verbal and written correspondence. Computer skills to include familiarity with Mac systems and excel. Ability to schedule appointments, set up new clients and patients; facilitate preparation and maintenance of medical records, client education as well as facilitate the smooth check-in and check-out/ payment process. Ability to sit at a computer for several hours at a time and work efficiently in a fast-moving, often busy reception area with a variety of animal species while accurately handling financial transactions, phone calls, in person client transactions, and managing front office and reception area.
VETERINARY TECHNICIAN/ASSISTANT
At Kauai North Shore Animal Clinic, we depend on compassionate, talented technicians and assistants who truly believe in our philosophy of care. We rely on them for many things that may include, obtaining excellent histories on patients, drawing blood, placing IV catheters, performing cystos, intubating patients, monitoring anesthesia, performing dental prophylaxis and full mouth radiology, managing lab samples, assisting with restraint for x-rays or ultrasound. Technicians and assistants help with nail trims and surgical preparation, provide proper restraint and handling, dispense pharmaceuticals, clean kennels and medicate patients. They may also enter medical history into the computer system and follow up with clients by phone.

KENNEL ATTENDANT
Kennel Attendants are essential staff members at Kauai North Shore Animal Clinic. They are responsible for attending to admitted patients by feeding, cleaning, and walking as necessary. They observe and report to technicians or doctors any and all problems of hospitalized or boarding pets. They also learn proper handling and restraint of animals, are responsible for cleaning and upkeep of the clinic, and assist technicians and doctors with necessary treatment of animals. They also assist the technicians or assistants in maintaining records as requested. Duties will also include hospital and grounds maintenance.
